Huge congratulations to Sol McE & Ellen J following their recent performance at the Education Authority Music Gala.
Sol & Ellen were the only two representatives from MHS and the evening showcased their incredible musical talents which confirmed their places amongst the best young musicians within the locality.
Sol is currently working on his Grade 6 Euphonium and Ellen plays the Flute having recently completed her Grade 3.
We are so proud of Sol & Ellen. It takes immense dedication and diligence to play an instrument, never mind committing every Saturday to attending rehearsals for the South Ulster Youth Band and Academy respectively.
We are so excited to follow Sol & Ellen's musical journeys. On behalf of the entire school family, we wish them continued success.
